The Icelandic Ýr Jóhannsdóttir was one of my first great discoveries on Ravelry. Her dress “The world between toasted bread and dinosaurs” was one of the most beautiful pieces I had ever seen. “A sweater I made out of white Icelandic wool and took on a road trip around Iceland. On the way I colored it with sand, mud, flowers, caterpillars and more. In the end I dropped it into the sea and showed on the final show at work.
The colors ended up nice but the sweater smells really bad.
The next step is to put the sweater on a stick and into a flowerpot. Then I’m going to keep it outside and see if it get rotten and something starts to grow out of it. Then I’ve made a living sweater.

“One Really fun project, a wedding jumpsuit! And this is the bride, Salka, ready for her wedding last friday.
The jumpsuit it self is machine knitted, the eyes are hand embroidered and the colors hand knitted.
